I've been extremely happy with the storage services. The electric bill for my 101-bottle wine fridge was probably more than I pay to store twice as much wine here.

About storing wine

What advantages are there over a wine refrigerator?

A wine fridge is a good option to store anywhere from 5-250 bottles of wine. They fit inside your garage or house pretty easily, and can maintain a constant temperature. However, they do not feature humidity control, and they can use a considerable amount of electricity depending on the size. The average wine refrigerator also can’t accommodate large bottle sizes for some pinots, Magnums, and other large-format bottles.

What Is Proper Wine Storage

Because of the nature of wine, and its ability to age for long periods of time, proper storage is essential to maintain its quality. Large fluctuations in storage conditions can damage the wine. No matter where you keep your wine, the environment should remain fairly constant. There are four basic guidelines to follow.

Temperature should remain between 55F to 60F
Humidity should be kept around 65%, relative to the temperature
Limit exposure to ultra-violet light
Keep the bottles horizontal, so the wine stays in contact with the cork and preserves the seal.
